I am a Power Diretor 3.0 veteran user and I downloaded the trial version 6.0 and absolutely love this program. I was able to manipulate my new HD files with ease and create some neat slide and movies. I will recommend this program to any one without

Good visual organizing system for assebling videos, images and audio. Excellent output format options. Very poor menu system for DVD/Bluray formats. Frequent crashes even on high performance PC running only one application. The s/w folks are not using

I had to make a movie a few days ago, so i decided to give PowerDirector a go. It was easy to use, well integrated, interactive, simple. Basically everything you could ask for in a program plus some extras you didn't even expect. Good job

I am a PowerDirector 3.0 user and have had a wonderful time creating home movies. SInce I moved to the HD video need an update that would handle the new video format. I downloaded a trial version of 6.0 and it looks like will do the job for a beginner

a little pricy for what you get, but you can do some pretty cool things with the program. I like this version better than the last, it seems easier and more user-friendly. The tutorial section is helpful

This program may good for effects, DVD authoring and uploading to the internet, but when it comes to the basics it's just not there. I have editing 16mm film on a Movieola, 2 deck S-VHS, A/B role with Betacam SP, and non-lineir with Adobe, and AVID.
