I've been using Ulead video products for the past 10 years, and Ulead had excelent support and a usable forum. Since Corel bought Ulead, the support for the video products has disappeared, and it is no longer possible to contact Corel support online, or register with the support forums. Video Studio X2 has been removed from shelves in stores across New Zealand, and I was told that Corel had asked them to send all the stock back. I do wonder if Corel only bought Ulead for their photo and graphics applications, and are fading out the video software. Media Studio Pro has already been ditched by Corel. Now on to the editing software itself. The software is easy to use, and has some great features which are missing from the likes of Pinnacle Studio, but... and this is a big but.. I've found it to be very unstable and frequently crashes. Due to the lack of support from Corel, I have not been able to contact them regarding the stability problems. Before making a purchase, I recommend that you give the trial software a thorough test, create and export at least a 20 minute edited video.
