Read the full review of Corel VideoStudio
Here with a Video Editing Tip using Corel Video Studio. This tip will show you how to edit a clip. After you have captured your footage click the edit tab. Select the footage you want from your media library and drag it down to the timeline. Go to the preview window and toggle the playback option from ‘project' to ‘clip'. You can move the jog slider to the appropriate spot on the playback bar. Then just click the ‘cut clip' button to split your footage. Alternately you can push CTRL I to accomplish the same function. Notice in your timeline you now have two separate clips where there used to be just one. I'm going to go ahead and move the jog slider forward in the clip so I can make another cut. We now we have three separate clips. Now go to the timeline and delete the footage you don't want. I'm going to delete the first and third clips so we're left only with the footage I want. Now play it back so I can see if I need to make another cut. Now I'm going to go ahead and drag my new clip back up into the media library in case I ever need this specific clip again.
