Terrible support and programming

Menus

This was an easy-to-use, nice product, but I could never get the menus to work. The menu wouldn't even install into the timeline. I tried the help file, online user forums, online help. In user forums, I noticed where some other users

Program did not work

The program did not work on my Windows XP (had the current updates). The help people tried their best to help but the program had issues "saving" and would crash the system.

Bad Program with Bad Support

This program does not work with AVI files. It says it does, but it does not. The technical support is cumbersome and unhelpful. They do not honor their warranty or support their product. Do not buy this

Had a wonderful time creating home movies

I am a PowerDirector 3.0 user and have had a wonderful time creating home movies. SInce I moved to the HD video need an update that would handle the new video format. I downloaded a trial version of 6.0 and it looks like will do the job for a beginner
